NED is a FOUNDATION recognized by the Department of Justice in the Comunidad Valenciana (Valencia, Spain) with registration number 487V. We have been working to promote Neurosciences and, in particular, Neurosurgery in Developing Geographic Areas since 2005.

The NED foundation focuses its efforts mainly on the ‘Progress of Practical Teaching of Neurosurgery and its establishment in Central and East Africa’.

To develop, promote and encourage all kinds of neurosurgical health care and educational activities in the less developed regions of Central and East Africa.
